Lien Writer™ Single-State lets you begin the Mechanic's Lien process by producing the necessary pre-lien documents.To use Lien Writer™ Single-State, you enter data for all required parties once and then retrieve it as needed. Your notices can be printed on built-in plain paper forms or you may buy pettit or waltz forms with the post office return receipt card attached Lien Writer™ Single-State also gives you the ability to create a Release of Rights once you are satisfied that payment has or will be made. These documents take no legal action, but other legal parties on your project will respect your use of the law, and pay you on time. Should you have a payment problem, providing a Preliminary Notice per job ensures your lien rights to any payable parties. If you were required to produce an actual Mechanic's Lien, you can use the data entered into Lien Writer™ Single-State and produce a Mechanic's Lien to be filed by yourself in the county that the property is located, and without an attorney. An attorney may be neded only to perfect the lien and collect on it. Lien Writer™ Single-State is an excellent advanced-level software tool for the contractor or subcontractor doing business only in one state. Single-State complies with all recent law changes in all fifty states, and is updated whenever there are modifications. Most paperwork can be done in about 10% of the time it normally takes a user to prepare a typed notice.
