Time Constraints: The Notice of Right to File
a Lien must be served upon the owner and general contractor
(if not your customer) within 30 days of your first furnishing
of labor, materials or services by certified mail. Failure to
service your notice of intent to file a lien can negate your
lien claim. Before filing a lien you must also serve a Notice
